UCLA Required Workplace Posters

Guidelines on Posting Requirements

These guidelines are intended to assist campus organizational units in meeting the University of California’s obligation to post notices required by state and federal law.

Department heads are responsible for posting the notices where employees can see them in the normal course of business. Examples are break rooms, official bulletin boards and payroll and personnel offices.

Posters listed in the General Posters section apply to all workplaces. Additional posters apply only during certain times or to certain workplaces or occupations, as indicated in the chart below. Please note that some topics have both state and federal posting requirements; each of the posters listed represents a separate, mandatory posting requirement.

Most of the posters are available for downloading and printing from the Campus Human Resources web site. Several posters are also available in other languages, Braille or large print from the issuing government agency. For more information contact the responsible campus unit. Please contact the Staff Diversity and AA/EEO Compliance Office for guidance if 10% or more of your employees speak a language other than English as their primary language.

Please ensure that your department has submitted a "Mandatory Workplace Postings" form to the Staff Diversity and AA/EEO Compliance Office. The form is available in Related Information.

To download a poster, click on the title of the desired poster and language(s). The files are in PDF format. Viewing and/or printing PDF files requires a viewer, such as Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® or Adobe® Reader®. If needed, download Acrobat® Reader®

To obtain a poster that is not available for download, please contact the responsible campus unit.
