UCLA and Teamsters Local 2010 met for their ninth and tenth bargaining sessions on February 23 and 24, 2026. Proposals were exchanged on seven articles, including Article 1 - Recognition, Article 8 - Personnel Files, Article 9 - Apprentices, Article 25 - Discipline and Dismissal, Article 39 - Subcontracting Unit Work, and Article 48 - Licenses and Certifications. The parties reached tentative agreements on Article 2 - Classifications and Reclassifications, Article 3 - Definitions, and Article 10 - Training and Development. Through their first ten bargaining sessions, the parties have reached tentative agreements on seventy (70%) percent of the articles and appendices of the successor contract. UCLA hopes to continue this significant progress when the parties meet next on March 9 and 10, 2026.
