JDXpert Instructor-Led Training Registration
Welcome to the JDXpert Instructor-Led Training Registration page. This page is intended for JDXpert Department Preparers and Submitters.
As a JDXpert Department Preparer or Submitter, you are required to register and attend the three (3) instructor-led training courses and one (1) on-demand video before JDXpert goes live on March 12, 2024, as outlined in the training email from hritso@it.ucla.edu.
Please view below for the complete instructor-led training schedule and register for one session per course. Registration will remain open until the Friday prior to the scheduled training; nevertheless, to guarantee your session of choice, we strongly encourage you to register for each course as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please email the HRITSO Program Team at hritso@it.ucla.edu.
How to Register for Instructor-led Training
Read this helpful quick reference guide for information on how to register for each course. Once registered, you will receive confirmation email including relevant Zoom link and attached calendar invite. Don’t forget to add the attached calendar invite to the training session to your calendars once received.
It is recommended to take the required ILT courses in the following order:
- Introduction to JDXpert (2 hours)
- JDXpert – Add New Position Description (3 hours)
- JDXpert – Revise Position Description (2.5 hours)
Training for Other User Roles
For individuals provisioned as Unit Specific Viewers, please refer to your training email from hritso@it.ucla.edu for information on training videos available for this role, which will be available on the JDXpert Training Resources webpage beginning the week of Monday, March 4.

Training Make-Up Session Registration for Department Preparers & Submitters
Note: If you miss the registration deadline or are unable to attend your registered session, please email the HRITSO Program team as soon as possible at hritso@it.ucla.edu to coordinate the (re)scheduling of your training session to another offering the same week. If you are unable to reschedule for the same week, plan to register and attend one of the make-up sessions on Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8 listed below.
