What is Employee Relations?
Employee Relations supports a healthy, equitable, and legally compliant workplace by partnering with campus leaders and employees to address workplace concerns, interpret policy, and uphold institutional standards. As a neutral resource, the team provides guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, and labor‑related matters, ensuring decisions are consistent with public‑sector requirements and the university’s commitment to fairness and accountability. Through collaborative problem‑solving and evidence‑based practice, Employee Relations strengthens organizational effectiveness and fosters a respectful environment where employees can thrive.
