Getting Started
Use this checklist of resources to help ease the process of settling into your new position at UCLA. Get started on enrolling for benefits, purchasing a parking permit, setting up your email account, registering for New Employee Orientation and exploring personal and recreational activities. It's all here and ready for you to begin using today!
- Locate and meet your department HR representative.
- Obtain your employee ID number from your HR representative and review and sign all initial new-hire paperwork.
- Create your UCLA Logon ID on the Identity and Accounts Manager website.
- Visit Central Resource Unit (CRU) and UCPath websites to learn about your paycheck, direct deposit, pay dates and deductions.
- Visit the Transportation website to learn about commuting options and Campus Parking to obtain relevant parking permits.
- Review a campus map to locate relevant buildings and parking lots.
- Set up your office voicemail, email and workstation if it is not already set up for you.
- Get your UCLA BruinCard.
- Get fingerprinted if required at UCLA PD.
- Sign up for New Employee Orientation.
