The parties held a bargaining session on the afternoon of June 22, 2022. Teamsters passed a package proposal, which included the following articles:
- Article 2 (Classifications and Reclassifications)
- Article 14 (Overtime)
- Article 15 (Pay Differentials)
- Article 33 (Parking)
- Article 45 (Wages)
With respect to wages, the Union proposed a $10,000 lump-sum payment to all employees hired before January 1, 2022 and the following across-the-board increases over the next 5 years:
- FY 2022-2023 – 10%
- FY 2023-2024 – 8%
- FY 2024-2025 – 7%
- FY 2025-2026 – 6 %
- FY 2026-2027 – 6%
This package proposal also included the May 11 proposals previously set forth by the Teamsters for Article 34 (Insurance and Retirement Benefits), Article 35 (Death Payments), and Article J (Value of Safety Shoes).
The Parties plan to discuss classifications at the next bargaining session.
