On May 14, 2021, President Drake authorized the Chancellors to move forward with the 2021-22 Salary Program for Policy-Covered Staff. In recognition of the extraordinary efforts contributed by our policy-covered staff members during these challenging times and the inability to provide a merit program last year, this year’s program provides for a 3% general increase to all eligible recipients. Increases will be processed centrally by Campus Human Resources (CHR) or Health Human Resources (HHR) and will be effective June 27, 2021 for employees on bi-weekly payroll and July 1, 2021 for those paid monthly.
This program does not apply to exclusively represented employees, whose salaries are determined in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements and/or meeting-and-conferring under the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act (HEERA). Guidelines for academic appointees will be issued separately.
