Apply to Become the Next UC Staff Advisor to UC Regents

Eligible UC staff and non-Senate academic employees who are interested in serving as the 2021-2023 Staff Advisor to the UC Board of Regents may apply for the position through Friday, April 9, 2021, at 5 p.m.

The Staff Advisor Program provides the opportunity for two staff and/or non-Senate academic employees to participate in open sessions of designated committees of the Board. One new Staff Advisor is selected each year for a two-year term and he/she brings the voice and perspective of staff and non-Senate academic employees to Board deliberations.

You are eligible to serve in this role if you:

  • Are a staff or non-Senate academic employee. The seat is open to both non-represented and represented employees.
  • Have at least five years of UC service.
