Training & Development

Training and Development is a unit within Campus Human Resources (CHR) responsible for providing a wide variety of programs to build job skills for staff’s current roles and foster ongoing development. The unit helps staff contribute their talents to the organization by conducting classes, workshops, programs, and offering resources that promote growth and the accomplishment of organizational goals. Emphasis is placed on empowering individual contributors and managers to demonstrate performance that advances UCLA’s mission of excellence.

RESOURCES

  • Provides performance coaching to people managers whose teams are impacted by layoff
  • Provides professional coaching to current employees transitioning into layoff status
  • Offers management development workshops to help with change management and work modification
