If you experience a temporary or indefinite layoff or reduction in time, you may be eligible for unemployment benefits. Please note that decisions relating to the award and/or payment of unemployment benefits are made by EDD, and not by UC. A claim for unemployment benefits may be filed online or by phone.

When reporting your Last Employer Information, do not provide your department’s name and address. Instead, provide the following information:
Mailing Address | Physical Location Address |
University of California Los Angeles | Unemployment Insurance Coordinator |
Equifax Workforce Solutions | UCLA Payroll Services |
P.O. Box 23020 | 10920 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 620 |
Oakland, CA 94623-2302 | Los Angeles, CA 90024 |
It is important to use the above mailing address and physical location address because Equifax Workforce Solutions works with UC to process unemployment insurance claims. Failure to use this information may result in benefit payments being delayed or paid improperly.
When filing your claim or during the interview process, if you are asked for your supervisor’s name and phone number, you can release this information.
