DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS
Dear Colleagues:
I am pleased to invite campus leaders, including faculty, managers, and senior professional staff, to participate in the 2014-15 Management Seminar Series. The theme of this year’s new series is “Transformational Leadership: The Art of Influence” and it continues our partnership with UCLA Anderson’s Executive Education Program.
The program, designed to strengthen management competencies to effectively lead a diverse workforce in a fast-changing and challenging work environment, features presentations by national experts in their fields and interactive dialogue with campus peers and colleagues. This year’s program brings acclaimed contributors delivering seminars on contemporary and evolving topics.
Quarterly sessions are offered on the following topics:
• | Leader as a Coach, John Ullmen | November 12, 2014 |
• | Emotional Intelligence, Jorge Cherbosque | January 27, 2015 |
• | Change Leadership, Jorja Leap | March 10, 2015 |
• | Cultural Competence, Robin Johnson | April 21, 2015 |
For more information about the series, review our eBrochure at: https://ucla.app.box.com/2014-15-management-series. To enroll, please visit the UC Learning Center at http://lms.ucla.edu and select the Management Seminar Series category.
Package enrollments enjoy priority, since space is limited. Departments may reserve a package and designate different participants for individual seminars, provided they notify us in advance of their participation. The fee for a complete Seminar Series Package is $500 and $165 for individual seminars.
We appreciate your ongoing support of CHR Training and Development efforts to enhance leadership preparation. Please contact the Training Desk (training@chr.ucla.edu) for enrollment assistance and Rejeana Mathis (rmathis@chr.ucla.edu) for program information. We look forward to seeing you at the 2014-15 Management Seminar Series.
Sincerely,
Lubbe Levin
