Teamsters passed an economic counterproposal on July 15, 2022, which proposed an approximate 30% wage increase. The proposal included the following across-the-board increases:
- July 1, 2022: 8.75%
- July 1, 2023: 6.25%
- July 1, 2024: 5.75%
- July 1, 2025: 5.5%
- July 1, 2026: 5%
The Union’s proposal also included a $5,000 hero bonus for all employees hired before January 1, 2022, which would cost approximately $3 million dollars.
Teamsters also passed counterproposals on the following 5 articles:
- Article 2 – Classifications and Reclassifications
- Article 11 – Promotion and Transfer
- Article 14 – Overtime
- Article 15 – Pay Differentials
- Article 33 – Parking
The parties continue to engage in productive discussions and make movement on the remaining articles.
