The parties met for their second bargaining session on Friday, January 21, 2022 and ended the week on a high note after tentatively agreeing to seven articles, including:
- Article 4 - Nondiscrimination in Employment
- Article 8 - Personnel Files
- Article 13 - Uniforms, Tools and Equipment (CCL)
- Article 25 - Discipline and Dismissal
- Article 37 - Labor-Management Relations
- New Article - Employee Information & New Employee Orientation
- New Article - Job Resignation
The discussions centered on health and safety, performance evaluations, and emergency preparedness. The University proposed current contract language for twelve articles and passed nine additional counter proposals. Teamsters Local 2010 also passed counter proposals on nine articles. The parties will meet again next Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
