Last December, Campus Human Resources distributed a memo regarding proposed revisions to UC Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM) 30 — Salary, which included the title change to “Compensation.” Based on feedback received from the initial review, additional revisions have been made to the policy requiring a second, shortened formal review period.
The supplementary changes are intended to clarify policy language and establish the University’s commitment to meeting minimum wage provisions. To view the revised policy online, go to: http://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/tools-and-services/administrators/policies/proposed/ppsm-30.pdf.
Because this is a formal review, comments from employees are encouraged and will be considered before a final policy is adopted. The policy applies to staff employees in the Professional & Support Staff and Management & Senior Professional Personnel Programs. Please note that UCLA campus salary guidelines will continue to be applicable.
