The Guidelines for implementing the FY 2017-2018 Merit Pay Plan are now available. They are applicable to Policy-Covered (Non-Represented) Staff, as referenced in the May 2, 2017, memo from Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Scott Waugh.
The merit pool will be 3 percent calculated on the payroll base of eligible filled positions. Merit increases for eligible staff will be effective July 1, 2017, for those on a monthly pay schedule and June 18, 2017, for those paid on a biweekly schedule.
These guidelines do not apply to exclusively represented employees, whose salaries are determined in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements and/or meeting-and-conferring under the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act (HEERA). In addition, the plan excludes student employees and anyone covered by Academic Personnel Policies.
Information regarding implementation procedures for the campus will be sent to HR administrators by Compensation Services.
