We are pleased to announce that nominations are being accepted for the 2023 Staff Assembly Recognition Awards and Staff Scholarships.

The following awards are excellent opportunities to shine the spotlight on UCLA employees:

The Chancellor’s Excellence in Service Award will be presented to staff member(s) who have exemplified an extraordinary commitment to UCLA’s mission and have championed the value of inclusiveness, innovation, diversity, and teamwork. The individual(s) selected for this prestigious honor will receive an award up to $4,000.
|
|
This prestigious award for a UCLA faculty member recognizes the value of collaboration and collegiality between faculty and staff. Staff members are encouraged to nominate a faculty member who exemplifies these values and who actively develops and encourages faculty/staff partnerships.
|
|
The Kevin McCauley Memorial Outstanding Staff Award provides the opportunity for UCLA to nominate a staff member for this systemwide recognition based on noteworthy efforts to encourage equity, diversity, and community/collaboration. The staff member selected will serve as UCLA's nominee for UC-wide recognition by the Council of University of California Staff Assemblies (CUCSA).

Staff members may apply for scholarships in support of their career enhancement and professional growth. Each award covers the cost of education and training up to $500.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 28, 2023. Recipients of the awards and scholarships will be honored at the Staff Assembly Awards Recognition Reception on Wednesday, June 21, 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the James West Alumni Center, Collins Conference Room.
