Chancellor’s Executive Education Fellowship

Applications are now being accepted for the Chancellor’s Executive Education Fellowship to the UCLA Anderson Executive Program. This fellowship is made possible by the generous support of Anderson’s Dean Antonio Bernardo and is intended to enhance the development of emerging leaders at UCLA.

The Executive Program is offered twice per year, and a fellowship is available for each program in 2023. The Spring session runs from March 4, 2023 to June 25, 2023 and is currently slated to take place in a blended format. Immersions I and III will be held in-person, and Immersion II and the weekly sessions will be held in a live, online format. The Fall session is scheduled for October 7, 2023 to February 11, 2024 with current plans to take place fully in-person, unless health advisories recommend otherwise.

Taught by Anderson faculty, the program delivers the essentials of an MBA education in an accelerated timeframe, including the following:

  • Sessions that address leadership style to enhance decision-making, negotiation, and creativity, along with a hands-on business simulation to improve problem-solving and master complexity;
  • Weekly class sessions on topics that include strategy, operations, marketing, change management, finance and accounting, and innovation;
  • An Integrative Case Competition that marshals fact-based decision- making and requires novel, practical solutions judged by a panel of experts; and
  • Executive coaching to help clarify personal and professional goals and develop action plans to achieve them.

The UCLA Anderson Executive Program is designed for leaders with significant management experience who have achieved, or have the potential to advance to, senior positions at the University. Nominees who have attained a UCLA position at the Management & Senior Professional (MSP) Program level are eligible and will be given priority consideration for the fellowship. Applicants who hold academic positions at the equivalent level in addition to a staff appointment will also be considered.

The deadline for applications is November 10, 2022, for both of the 2023 programs.

Submit an application online for the Chancellor’s Executive Education Fellowship. Applicants will be required to upload a copy of their current resume and a letter of support from their manager at the end of the online application.

Following review by the selection committee, an announcement of the Fellowship awards will be made in January 2023. Those not selected for an award are encouraged to consider applying directly to UCLA Anderson. A 30% discount is available for eligible UCLA managers and senior staff. Early application is recommended, since space is limited.
