New HR Systems and UCLA Campus Jobs Opportunities Website

Key takeaways:

UCLA has launched new tools to aid in hiring campus employees: a new position description management system, JDXpert; a new applicant tracking system, iCIMS; and a revamped Campus Job Opportunities website

New platforms replace the PeopleAdmin system and bring modernized processes and system upgrades to campus department leaders, HR staff, hiring managers, and current and future UCLA job applicants

The new systems enable classification and recruitment of campus staff and management positions; they do not include UCLA Health, academic or student worker positions

Learn more about the new platforms on the HR IT Systems Optimization Program web page

Dear Bruin Community:

We are excited to announce that UCLA is introducing two new campus HR systems that will enhance our hiring processes, improve our applicant experience and help to amplify the many exceptional job opportunities at UCLA. These systems pertain to the hiring of campus non-academic staff, and do not impact hiring for UCLA Health, academic positions and student workers.

Campus Human Resources, in partnership with IT Services, has launched JDXpert, UCLA’s new position description management system, and iCIMS, UCLA’s new applicant tracking system, along with the fully redesigned UCLA Campus Job Opportunities website. The two platforms complete the launch of three new HR IT systems that are a part of the HR IT Systems Optimization (HRITSO) Program.

Why is this important for UCLA?

JDXpert and iCIMS bring modernized process and system upgrades to UCLA’s HR platforms, and will significantly streamline HR processes for campus department leaders, HR staff and hiring managers. These changes will also improve the applicant experience and enhance our ability to attract, recruit and hire campus employees.

Who can access JDXpert, iCIMS and the new UCLA campus job opportunities website?

JDXpert and iCIMS can be accessed by designated UCLA staff who have been provisioned user roles.

iCIMS can be accessed by UCLA employees who have been provisioned to or are associated with job requisitions.

The new UCLA Campus Job Opportunities website is open to the public, including current and prospective UCLA employees.
