CHR Learning and Organizational Development invites applications to the Professional Development Program (PDP) — one of UCLA’s most comprehensive initiatives for developing internal talent and strengthening leadership capacity across the University. Programs like PDP play a vital role in preparing UCLA’s workforce to meet evolving organizational priorities while cultivating the next generation of University leaders.
PDP is now accepting applications through April 3, 2026, for its 2027 cohort. This 10-month, cohort-based program provides staff with dedicated time and institutional support to advance their professional goals, build leadership and workplace competencies, and establish meaningful cross-campus networks that support both individual growth and organizational effectiveness.
Program components include leadership development retreats, individualized leadership and performance coaching, skill-building seminars and mentoring. Through these experiences, participants gain a broader understanding of UCLA’s business operations while strengthening critical capabilities such as leadership effectiveness, project development and management, influential communication and emotional intelligence—skills that contribute directly to performance and long-term University success.
All the information about the program, including eligibility, online application and other resources are on the PDP website.
Please note that PDP has specific eligibility requirements, and applications from ineligible staff will not be considered. Eligibility criteria, detailed program information and application instructions are available on the Professional Development Program website. The application period closes on April 3, 2026.
