DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS and ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS
Dear Colleagues:
I am pleased to invite campus leaders, including faculty, managers, and senior professional staff, to participate in the 2018-19 Management Seminar Series. The theme of this year’s series is “Holistic Leadership: The Psychology of Management,” and it continues our partnership with UCLA Anderson’s Executive Education Program.
The program is designed to help participants further develop management competencies, build professional networks, and leverage resources needed to reinforce the University’s high-performing environment. It features presentations by Anderson School faculty who are national experts in their fields and interactive dialogue with campus peers and colleagues.
Four program sessions are offered on the following topics:
| • | Behavioral Decision Making, Professor Craig Fox | November 7, 2018 |
| • | Navigating the Intergenerational Workplace, | December 5, 2018 |
| • | Mindful Awareness and Cultivating a Positive | February 6, 2019 |
| • | The Resilient Leader, Professor Iris Firstenberg | March 13, 2019 |
All academic and administrative leaders, faculty, professional staff in PSS 5 classifications, and Management and Senior Professional (MSP) employees are eligible to attend.
For more information about the series, review our MSS 2018/2019 eBrochure (PDF). To enroll, please visit the UC Learning Center and select the Management Seminar Series category.
Package enrollments enjoy priority, since space is limited. Departments may reserve a package and designate different participants for individual seminars, provided they notify us in advance of their participation. The fee for a complete Seminar Series Package is $500 and $188 for individual seminars.
We appreciate your ongoing support of CHR Training and Development efforts to enhance leadership preparation. Please contact the Training Desk (training@chr.ucla.edu) for enrollment assistance and Lead Manager Rejeana Mathis (rmathis@chr.ucla.edu) for program information.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2018-2019 Management Seminar Series.
Sincerely,
Lubbe Levin
