Proposed Revisions to PPSM 63 - Investigatory Leave

Dear Colleagues:

The University of California Office of the President (UCOP) is proposing revisions to PPSM 63 – Investigatory Leave. The policy applies to all staff levels, including Professional & Support Staff, Managers & Senior Professionals, and Senior Management Group members.

Highlights of the proposed revisions include the following:

  • Clarification of the circumstances for use of the investigatory-leave process.
  • Updated language and references to intersecting University policies such as Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.

The red-lined policy changes are available for review on the UCnet Tools and Services website.

As with all formal University policy reviews, employees are encouraged to provide comments on the proposed revisions. Comments or questions from the campus should be directed to Anthony Solana, Director, Employee & Labor Relations at asolana@chr.ucla.edu or from the Health System and David Geffen School of Medicine to Jane Miller, Director, Employee & Labor Relations, at janemiller@mednet.ucla.edu by February 15, 2019.

Sincerely,
