Re:

Nominations for the UCLA Management Enrichment Program

Dear Colleagues:

Campus Human Resources is pleased to announce the 2021 UCLA Management Enrichment Program (MEP) and requests nominations or applications for participation in this high-level management development program. MEP is designed to provide a framework for enhancing decision-making and leadership skills, particularly in critical areas such as strategic planning, financial management, and human resources, along with understanding the context in which decisions are made at UCLA. This year’s cycle will consider the internal and external factors influencing operations, such as the pandemic. A core element of this cohort-based program is the opportunity to strengthen professional networks and introduce high-potential managers to senior decision-makers at UCLA.

The program includes interactive sessions with senior managers, facilitated panel discussions, and UCLA-relevant case studies. MEP consists of eight half-day sessions between February and June 2021, with a culminating event at the end of the program.

Nominations will be accepted for managers at Manager 1 or MSP Grade 1 and above (or equivalent classifications) who currently hold key roles in either an academic or administrative environment and are interested in further developing their skills. Participation will be limited to 25 attendees, with the expectation that they will attend all sessions. The sessions will be conducted via Zoom. Please visit the Management Enrichment Program web page for additional information regarding the program.

To apply for MEP, applicants are required to submit an online questionnaire and have their supervisor complete the online nomination form by February 16, 2021.

If you have any questions, please contact Rejeana Mathis, Lead Manager, Learning and Organizational Development at rmathis@chr.ucla.edu, for program information.

Sincerely,

Lubbe Levin
