Re:

2020-21 Management Seminar Series

Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased to invite campus leaders, including faculty, managers, and senior professional staff, to participate in the 2020-21 Management Seminar Series. Since many of you are working remotely, this continuation of our long-standing partnership with UCLA Anderson’s Executive Education Program will be offered on a virtual platform.

"Leading Through Times of Uncertainty and Change" is designed to improve participants’ ability to support their teams, strengthen core management competencies, foster professional networks, and leverage resources needed to help the University maintain its commitment to excellence. The series features presentations by Anderson faculty, who are national experts in their fields, and interactive dialogue with campus peers and colleagues.

Quarterly sessions are offered on the following topics:

  • Change Management, Jorja Leap Oct. 21, 2020
  • Consider Your Options, Jennifer Whitson Dec. 2, 2020
  • Negotiation and Influence, Chris Erickson Feb. 3, 2021
  • Time Management Agility, Sanford DeVoe March 10, 2021

All academic and administrative leaders, faculty and professional staff in PSS 5 classifications and above are eligible to attend.

For more information about the series, review our eBrochure (PDF). To enroll, please visit the UC Learning Center and select the Management Seminar Series category.

Departments may reserve a package and designate different participants for individual seminars, provided they notify us in advance of their participation. The fee for the series is $550 and $188 for individual seminars.

We appreciate your ongoing support of CHR Training and Development efforts to enhance leadership preparation. Please contact the Training Desk (training@chr.ucla.edu) for enrollment assistance and Rejeana Mathis (rmathis@chr.ucla.edu) for program information.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2020-2021 Management Seminar Series.

Sincerely,

Lubbe Levin
