Re: | Nominations for the UCLA Management Enrichment Program |
Campus Human Resources is pleased to announce the 2019 UCLA Management Enrichment Program (MEP) and requests nominations or applications for participation in this high-level management development program. MEP is designed to provide a framework for enhancing decision-making and leadership skills, particularly in key areas such as strategic planning, financial management, and human resources, along with achieving an understanding of the context in which decisions are made at UCLA. A core element of this cohort-based program is the opportunity to strengthen professional networks and introduce high-potential managers to senior decision-makers at UCLA.
The program consists of interactive sessions with senior managers, facilitated panel discussions, and UCLA-relevant case studies. Based on ongoing participant and leadership feedback, the program has been updated to emphasize development of a strategic focus while effectively managing operations.
MEP consists of seven half-day sessions between January and June 2019, with a graduation luncheon at the end of the program.
Nominations will be accepted for managers at MSP Grade 1 and above (or equivalent classifications) who currently hold key roles in either an academic or administrative environment and are interested in further developing their skills. Participation will be limited to 25 attendees, with the expectation that they will attend all sessions. Each session is scheduled to take place on campus. Please visit the Management Enrichment Program web page for additional information regarding the program.
In order to apply for MEP, applicants are required to submit an online questionnaire and have their supervisor complete the online nomination form by December 10, 2018.
If you have any questions, please contact Rejeana Mathis, Lead Manager, Training and Development, for program information.
Sincerely,
Lubbe Levin
