UCLA and K4 Bargaining Update No. 3 – January 26 and 27, 2026

On January 26 and 27, 2026, UCLA and Teamsters Local 2010 continued negotiations for the Skilled Trades (K4) unit successor agreement. The parties reached seven new tentative agreements during these sessions, as to performance evaluationsovertimedeath paymentsPay for Family Care and Bonding (PFCB) –resulting in the deletion of two obsolete appendices; the continuation of a 2021 settlement agreement concerning Teamsters’ access to UCLA Health facilities; and existing University policies and work rules, including the Master Key Ring Policy. The parties engaged in a robust discussion of California's legal mandates concerning competitive bidding for construction and maintenance projects. The parties also continue to negotiate matters including, but not limited to, licenses and certifications, promotion and transfer, funds for training and development, and out-of-classification assignments. To date, tentative agreements have been reached on thirty-three of fifty-two articles, and five appendices. UCLA and Teamsters Local 2010 have reached tentative agreement to over sixty percent of the successor agreement. UCLA and Teamsters Local 2010 are scheduled to meet next on February 9 and 10, 2026.
