The Administrative Management Group (AMG), in partnership with Campus Human Resources, is accepting nominations for the 2025 Excellence Awards, which honor outstanding managers and staff who have made significant contributions to their organizations and more broadly to UCLA.
Bruin Beacon Award
This year, a new award has been added to honor outstanding achievements in leadership in times of crisis, by recognizing an individual who has demonstrated exceptional effectiveness in crisis management, problem resolution, and generating innovative solutions.
AMG Bruin Beacon Award
Distinguished Career Award
This award recognizes an individual who has led a distinguished career over a significant period of time at the University, has shared invaluable institutional knowledge with others, and has made important contributions to the campus as a whole.
2025 Distinguished Career Award
EXCEL Award
This award honors management excellence, by recognizing an individual who has had a significant and lasting impact on the people they lead, and who exemplifies the leadership qualities that UCLA values.
2025 Excellence in Leadership (EXCEL) Award
Rising Star Award
This award spotlights an individual with high potential to make a positive impact throughout their career, and who has established a leadership role on campus, while pursuing training and development opportunities for career growth.
