The final guidelines for implementing the FY 2014-2015 Merit Pay Plan applicable to Policy-Covered (Non-Represented) Staff are now available. There are no changes from the proposed guidelines distributed on April 17, 2014.
The merit pool is 3 percent calculated on the payroll base of eligible filled positions. Merit increases for eligible staff will be effective July 1, 2014, for those on a monthly pay schedule and June 22, 2014, for those paid on a biweekly schedule.
These guidelines do not apply to exclusively represented employees, whose salaries are determined in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements and/or meeting-and-conferring under the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act (HEERA).
