To: All Employees

As previously announced, the UC Policy on Abusive Conduct in the Workplace (PDF) took effect on January 1, 2023. This policy underscores the University’s commitment to promoting and maintaining a healthy working and learning environment in which every individual is treated with respect.

In alignment with the policy, the UC Office of the President is requiring that all employees complete a new course, UC Abusive Conduct in the Workplace.

The 20-minute e-course will be available on the UC Learning Center. Employees will receive an assignment notification email during the week of March 15 containing instructions for accessing the training. The course must be completed within 90 days of assignment.

Should you need any troubleshooting assistance with the course, campus staff may contact Learning@chr.ucla.edu. Health system and DGSOM employees may open an HR System Inquiry through the Employee Experience Center.

Sincerely,

Michael S. Levine
