Re: 2017-18 Management Seminar Series
Dear Colleagues:
I am pleased to invite campus leaders, including faculty, managers and senior professional staff, to participate in the 2017-18 Management Seminar Series. The theme of this year’s new series is “Enhancing Your Strategic Focus,” and it continues our partnership with UCLA Anderson’s Executive Education Program.
The program is designed to help participants further develop management competencies, build professional networks, and leverage resources needed to reinforce the University’s high-performing environment. It features presentations by national experts in their fields and interactive dialogue with campus peers and colleagues.
Quarterly sessions are offered on the following topics:
Long-Term Decision-Making | Hal Hershfield | October 18, 2017 |
---|---|---|
Asked & Answered | Doug Lichtman | December 6, 2017 |
Driving Organizational Culture | Lori Santikian | January 24, 2018 |
Best Practices in Human Resources | Human Resources Roundtable at UCLA (HARRT) | March 14, 2018 |
All academic and administrative leaders, faculty and professional staff in PSS 5 classifications and above are eligible to attend.
For more information about the series, review our eBrochure. To enroll, please visit the UC Learning Center and select the Management Seminar Series category.
Package enrollments enjoy priority, since space is limited. Departments may reserve a package and designate different participants for individual seminars, provided they notify us in advance of their participation. The fee for a complete Seminar Series Package is $500 and $188 for individual seminars.
We appreciate your ongoing support of CHR Training and Development efforts to enhance leadership preparation. Please contact the Training Desk (training@chr.ucla.edu) for enrollment assistance and Rejeana Mathis (rmathis@chr.ucla.edu) for program information.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2017-18 Management Seminar Series.
Sincerely,
Lubbe Levin
Associate Vice Chancellor
