The HR IT Systems Optimization (HRITSO) Program aims to modernize vital HR systems, streamline processes, and improve the overall experiences of HR clients, employees, and the campus community.

Guiding Principles

  • Prioritize The End User Experience:  Maintain an end user-centric perspective to ensure that new HR systems meet the needs and improve upon the experience of HR clients and customers.
  • Focus On Simple, Adoptable & Scalable Solutions: Balance various campus processes with the need for simple, adoptable, and user-friendly solutions. Plan for current and future cross-functional needs through long-term and scalable solutions.
  • Adopt HR and Technology Best Practices: Adopt HR and technology best practices to streamline business processes, leveraging configurable solutions as much as possible to reduce maintenance, build, and overall costs.
  • Enable Data-Informed Decision Through Data and Analytics: Commit to implementing solutions that provide access to accurate data and reliable reporting in order to enable data-informed decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Be Mindful of Changes and Impacts To Campus: Consider the amount of change that will be required for the campus community, balancing the campus value with the impact on stakeholders.
