General Program FAQs

The HRITSO Program is a joint effort led by Campus Human Resources and IT Services to modernize
vital HR systems, streamline processes, and improve the overall experiences of HR clients,
employees, and the campus community.

HRITSO includes the implementation of three new HR systems – the Bruin CHR Service Center, JDXpert, and iCIMS Talent Cloud – that will modernize the delivery of HR services to the campus community and significantly improve the processes and user experiences associated with managing position descriptions, classifications and reclassifications, and staff recruitments.

The HRITSO program aims to accomplish two overarching goals:

  • Replace PeopleAdmin which is being discontinued by the vendor in 2024, and implement robust, user-friendly, and streamlined solutions that will modernize our position description management, job classification -request process, and talent acquisition capabilities.
  • Implement the Bruin CHR Service Center to replace the current HRPOC ticketing system and streamline the intake of requests to Campus Human Resources and delivery of HR services to the campus community.

The development of UCLA’s talented, diverse, and vibrant employee population has since outpaced our HR current technology, resulting in the need to begin building modern solutions to streamline HR service delivery processes and improve user experiences for employees and HR representatives.

PeopleAdmin, UCLA’s current position description management and applicant tracking system, will be discontinued by the vendor in mid-2024. This offers UCLA an opportunity to implement robust, user-friendly, and specialized solutions that will modernize our position description management, job classification processes, and talent acquisition capabilities.

The HRITSO program team will assist campus users in preparing for the upcoming system implementations by providing timely communications, various opportunities to engage and learn more about the upcoming changes (e.g., Leadership Roadshows, Town Halls, System Demos), and training resources and opportunities. Feedback and questions can also be collected via the HRITSO program inbox.
